What to expect
Cycle flat rural roads between Kampot’s salt pans, villages and small farms while learning how seasonal salt production works.
Salt harvesting is seasonal and sites are workplaces, not staged attractions. Visit only with permission, avoid obstructing workers and schedule the ride outside the hottest hours.
Conditions, opening hours, transport and fees can change. Confirm locally before travelling, dress respectfully at religious sites, follow marked routes and ask permission before photographing people.
