What to expect
Chak Angre Community Protected Area is based in Bak Kam village, Chhean Mukh commune, Tbeng Meanchey District. Its trails enter Phnom Tbaeng Natural Heritage Park, passing forest, streams and natural landmarks toward Chak Angre waterfalls on the mountain ridge. The landscape is part of a planned trail network linking Chak Angre, Tangyou and Da Ta Verk community destinations.
The community manages and conserves around 1,166 hectares while developing ecotourism services and visitor infrastructure. Chak Angre Kraom—also called Anlong Svay Waterfall—is a recognised natural attraction on the ridge, while upper waterfalls require longer trekking. Routes, water flow, guide availability and camping conditions vary seasonally, so arrange the visit directly and follow community safety advice.
