Cambodia and Vietnam opened Vietnamese Culture Week 2026 with a cultural programme celebrating friendship and artistic cooperation between the two countries.

What to expect
The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia and Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism opened Vietnamese Culture Week 2026 on the evening of 26 May at Chaktomuk Conference Hall in Phnom Penh. The ceremony was presided over by Cambodian Minister of Culture and Fine Arts H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona and Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism H.E. Trinh Thi Thuy.
The programme celebrates the longstanding friendship between Cambodia and Vietnam and highlights continued cooperation in culture and the arts. Artists and cultural leaders from both countries participated in the opening programme.
