What to expect
Cambodia’s 2026 tourism calendar schedules Celebrating Cambodia, also known as Sator Kampuchea, in Phnom Penh on 31 December. The year-end public celebration presents Cambodian identity and creativity through traditional and contemporary culture.
The inaugural edition featured a large cultural parade, music and dance, street food, illuminated displays and New Year fireworks around the Royal Palace and Sisowath Quay. The 2026 date is published, but the precise route, performance times and programme have not yet been announced; check official city and event updates before travelling.
